Overview
The Med-eMonitor System, developed by InforMedix, Inc., includes a portable, easy to use “smart pillbox” and monitored communications. The Med-eMonitor System enables individuals who are chronically, on multiple mediations, or simply have difficulty remembering to take their medications on time, to dramatically improve their medication adherence, and as a result, their health. The Med-eMonitor System enhances a person’s ability to live safely and independently, and it improves the peace-of-mind and well-being of both the Med-eMonitor user and his or her loved ones.
The Med-eMonitor System is designed to keep you safe and healthy, and to help you take a more active role in managing your health. The Med-eMonitor System includes a “smart pillbox” that securely links you to those involved in monitoring and improving your health, through standard telephone line in your home. The “smart pillbox” captures and reports how you are doing with your medication and how you are feeling. The Med-eMonitor System helps keep you independent, safe and healthy by providing you with the following services:
- Medication reminders and dosing information for up to 25 medications
- Separate medication trays slots to hold up to 5 different medications
- Secure monitoring 24 hours a day
- General health questionnaires and health education
- Alerts to caregivers and loved ones, whom you select, are sent as necessary if medications are missed or health is declining

The Med-eMonitor is a portable, easy-to-use “smart pillbox” that sounds musical chimes when it’s time to take your medication. The “smart pillbox” provides dosing instructions and tips to promote better health. It also monitors your medication use and your health status.
Alerts
If you do not respond on-time to the chimes from your “smart pillbox”, it will communicate Alerts to caregivers and loved ones by e-mail, text message, page or fax, and also provides information to you on how to better manage your health.
Notify & Connect
Yourself, You’re Family or Your Caregiver
Med-eMonitor will attempt to contact you or your caregiver if an Alert is triggered, indicating that you have missed a medication or your health status has declined.
Physician or Personal Nurse
In certain situations, Med-eMonitor will contact your Personal Health Support Nurse or your physician, through support services.
Emergency
If you are monitored by optional support services, your Personal Support team will help keep track of any changes in your health status, and if necessary, will contact Emergency Medical Services-COMING SOON.
